Why is it lagging on my laptop but not on 2 other home computers?

I play an online 3d multiplayer pool game and all the sudden it started lagging badly on my macbook, version 10.6.8. It was always fine before and now the gameplay is slow and laggy. Any reasons why u think this is?

1. b/c your laptop has a slower processor
2. You might have a virus on just your laptop and not the other computers. Look through your files and see if anything is interfering with your game.
3. This could depend on the server you are on. You might need to refresh/restart your macbook. Restarting usually fixes my problem. It's usually temporary. I also play Pool. This site I go on and I don't lag at all. Try and see if you don't either. www.omgpop.com/?r=diks
