Where do I plug in my Xbox 360 on my 3D Samsung TV?

I don't know where to plug in my Xbox 360 on my 3D TV? I can't seem to find where the audio and video inputs go. It is a Samsung SMART 3D TV. Where is the input where the audio and video wires go? We also have 3D Blu-ray.

  1. Your samsung tv will have several plugs in the back. Should look like this: http://digitalpbk.com/files/blog_images/tv-input-ports-hdmi-svideo-rgb-component.jpg If your 360 supports it, use the HDMI port, look at the picture and note the HDMI 1 and 2 ports. There should be a corresponding port on the back of your 360. You will need to buy an hdmi cable since they don't generally come with the 360. Do not spend more than $10 on an hdmi cable, it's complete BS about spending $40 on a cable. Don't let anyone talk you into gold plated connectors, etc. Anyway, you don't have HDMI, your 360 should have come with at least the analog connector. On the pic above, it's AV IN 1...the Yellow (Video in) and white/red (Audio in). If your 360 came with a connector that has white/red and Red/blue/green, use that instead...On the pic, it's to the right of AV ports, called Component In.. In terms of picture quality, with 1 being the best and 5 being the worst: 1. HDMI Has digital video and audio in one cable. 2. Component. Can do HD quality picture, but seperate audio cables. 3. S-Video. Most newer tvs don't have s-video, it's only marginally better than Analog (composite) 4. Composite Analog (Yellow RCA Port) is standard definition only. Ok if you don't care about picture quality.
