when i go for my 3d ultra sound......?

it is just a elective ultra sound , i gotta pay for it , but if i ask could they tell me how much my baby weighs? or how long he is? , or would they not want to tell me because i herd they dont do messurments & stuff. i dont have another ultra sound as i am 24 weeks and already had 2 but i would like to know how big he is getting :(

1. They cant tell u exactly how much he weights but they can give u and idea like for me they said 5lbs more or less 12 oz...thts what i was told at my last ultrasound and with the 3d it all depends on how the baby is laying and if there is enough water around he/her.....with mine it looked alittle scary cause of his position and i wasnt like 5 months and if u have to pay for it id want it to come out perfect so ask b4 they do it and if they give u pictures it should have his measurements on the right side.....
2. they may or may not sense 3d is not for medical purposes only but you can always ask "off the record" they may tell you and as for paying for it i would suggest calling around to colleges in your area they have students that need practice and many do them for free if you are not happy with them then go and pay but it saves money and from what information i got they give you a cd and lots of pictures thats what im doing here in a few weeks im 25w6d also the later you get the 3D done the better it will be i was told best results were between 30-36 weeks
