How are Samsung 3d tv different from other brand name 3d tvs?

I see more people prefer LG 3D TV over Samsung 3D TV. How are they different? Is LG 3D TV really better?

1. yes it is LG tv is so much better samsung is a pain in the ass with cheap $200 glasses and LG has reegular movie theater glasses and there the same as the $200 ones.......thts the only difference
2. I've also noticed that people are leaning towards LG 3D TV. LG's passive model, Cinema 3D, is pretty popular right now, probably more than Samsung 3D TV. LG Cinema 3D is a passive 3D TV while Samsung 3D TVs are active. Passive 3D TVs are more affordable because you don't have to separately purchase the 3D glasses. Passive 3D glasses are also lightweighted and don't have to be charged after use so they're more comfortable to use. Also, LG Cinema 3Ds are certified flicker free 3D TVS. Samsung 3D TV, on the other hand, is getting some negative reviews because of the flicker problem. From what I've read, LG Cinema 3D definitely seems like a better choice.
