How do i get the captions off a Samsung 3D tv?

These captions came out of nowhere. I have comcast cable. The captions are not coming from the T.v because i already tried that and it tells me action not available. I disconnected the box from the cable multiple times.

1. I had that problem. It's almost certainly coming from the cablebox. You need to get into the menus of the cablebox and turn the captions off. I downloaded the manual for my cablebox. Maybe you can do the same. Or call your service provider help number and ask them how to do it.
