Can I play 3d playstation 3 games on my THEATER style passive 3d tv?

I just bought a vizio 3d theater style passive tv. I still havent figured out how to play a 3d game on my ps3. I have gran turismo 5 and I want to buy uncharted 3.

1. You must update your PS3 to the latest firmware to get 3D support for it. You then must connect your PS3 to your 3DTV with a HDMI cable that will support 3D (1.3a should work). Finally you must have a game or blu-ray movie that is in 3D. If the game supports 3D, the manual will tell you how to enable it in the game.
