Do you own a 3D television set, if so are you glad or disappointed?
Give marks out of 10 (1 being disappointed and 10 being elated). Also, please give a reason why you've given that choice. Thank you (^_^)

- 8 because it is really good but the only movies that are in 3D seem to be all cartoon which sucks. Where are all the real life movies, animations suck. I also play my 3D PS3 compatible games on it, so seeing my 3D TV is Sony and so is the PS3 they go together very well.
- I do own a Panasonic 50VT25 Plasma 3D TV. I give the TV a 10 and the 3D a 7. I like to watch 3D movies and sports but have been disappointed in 3D gaming. I think I just expected more from the gaming side. I would still recommend 3D to anyone thinking about getting a new TV.
- Zzyzx has an important point that you may want to consider: "Where are all the real life movies?" The answer is that producing real-life 3D video requires special equipment that translates to extra production costs, and producers don't like extra costs any more than anyone else. 3D cartoons and games can be generated by software, but real life 3D means multiple, expensive dual-lens cameras and their support systems. Another reason producers shy away from 3D is that 3D today is just the latest version of an on-again, off-again fad that's come and gone many times since the 1950s. If the current craze fades away, like all the rest did over the years, all that investment in special camera gear (and for that matter, 3D TVs) will have been largely wasted.
