  1. Dont buy 3d tvs....just not yet. Because right now 3d tvs are constantly changing, and by the time you find your pick there will be better ones. Just wait one more year and youll see much beter 3d effects and lower prices
  2. Even if the movie's coming out in 3D, there should be a 2D version.
  3. 1. 3d tv's arn't as great. honestly i hate 3d tv's it hurts my eyes just watching it for 5 minutes. for a tv to hurt my eyes something isn't right. 2. they constantly make new tv's everyyear i wouldn't even buy a 3d one. 3. small ones cost idk.. maybe around 100-500. depending on the size. if you want a 3d tv it will probably be a hefty price of $300-900. anything about 700+ is the big tv's. really a 2d tv is JUST FINE. nothing is so special about 3d tv's. i've watched movies on a 3d tv nothing fancy it's a movie right. you'll only watch it once or twice.
  4. You can get small 3D TVs (32 inch upwards) for around $700USD, but if you have a Playstation a good solution might be to wait for the Sony branded Playstation display. It's due for release in next couple of months (reported Nov 3rd for Australia, early Nov Japan, a bit later US and UK, NZ not known yet). 24 inch display, $500USD + I think 850NZD (don't know what that is on conversion). You'd be able to use your Playstation to hook up to the display to play 3D movies, or could buy a Blu Ray separately. Some people do get short dizzy spells or headaches from watching 3D TV, some don't. Best bet is to go to a store and try out some demo models. Quality right now in general is good, it's unlikely to improve or change much in the next 6-12 months. You'll need 3D glasses (the Sony 3D TV should come bundled with them, as do most sets). Without glasses 3D TVs are a long way off (at an affordable price, Toshiba are due to release a $10,000 set soon)
