Does anyone have 3D ultrasound pictures from BEFORE 20 weeks?

My next ultrasound is at 20 weeks. I am 9 weeks right now. We want to go get a 3D ultrasound done before 20 weeks. I want to see pictures if any of you mommies had it done before then! Also, I am a bit overweight. Even if I drink tons of water beforehand, will it be harder to see my baby because of extra fat?

  2. I've never had one done with my 3 but my sister did with her youngest and really she wishes she'd waited till after 20 weeks it was a lot of money and she feels it was wasted as it didnt give her a really clear picture wait till after 20 weeks, is my advice.
  3. I was 15 weeks when I got my 3D ultrasound and she was smiling. I will see if I can scan & download my pics.
  4. I did a 3D/4D ultrasound at 17 weeks and LOVED it. The baby looks like a little "alien" i guess you could say because she didnt have any fat on her yet but it was still very much worth watching her wiggle, squirm and suck her thumb, Purely beautiful! I do have some pictures i can email you if you would like. -and no your weight has nothing to do with it! And just enough water or juice for your bladder to be full is enough you dont have to over do it and make yourself sick by drinking to much!   5. I got this done at 19 weeks. I only got a couple pics because the primary part of the u/s was done in 2D. No fat yet on my baby as you can see. This site has 3D ultrasound images from different weeks of pregnancy: http://pregnancy.about.com/cs/ultrasounds/l/bl3dusindex.htm I would suggest waiting until later in your pregnancy if you want to do a 3D scan. These scans are expensive and not covered by insurance. If you are going to pay for a scan, you want it to be well worth it! The more body mass (muscle, fat) that the ultrasound waves have to pass through, the grainer the image. That is just the physics of ultrasound....   7. yup... i tried it before it was so amazing...you could see the features of your baby inside the womb..... having too much fat wont affect the 3d..it's okay...goodluck
