When is the best week to do 3D ultrasound?

I did a 3d ultrasound at 23 weeks the pictures were so cute but the baby was putting both hand on his face!!! I like to do it again because I enjoyed it.. When do you think is the best week to do it again? and which week the baby will have more fat that will show like a real newborn baby? some experience please

1. the later you do it the better it is. That's what all the doctors' websites say. It makes sense, though, the more developed the baby is the better the picture will be.
2. according to my OB doctor's office the best time is 28 - 34 weeks. Reasons being, the baby is still quite active and can move around, while later their will not be much room in the womb. Also, the baby is more developed and is mainly gaining weight during that time so the picture will be more accurate to what he/she will look like once they are born
