3D - 2

Any mommies out there have 16 week 3D Ultrasound pictures??

I will be 16 weeks next Monday, and I am having a gender determination 3D ultrasound next Tuesday! (yay!!) Hopefully my little peanut will be cooperative! I am curious to see if any of you mommies would share any pictures you have from your 16 week ultrasounds?

  1. I had this done with all 3 of my pregnancies. Its really neat to see. Feel free to email me (just click on my picture) and I'll find the pics for you and email them back. Good luck and congrats! (Edit: I also did my 3D ultrasound when I was further along. I think it was 24 or 26 weeks)
  2. Hooray, that's exciting. However, I would definitely recommend going for another 3d ultrasound when you are farther along (27-33 weeks) You can see soooo much more, and you can see who the baby looks like! It's amazing, I had mine done at 30 weeks. Good luck!
  3. http://www.kewego.com/video/iLyROoaft3Rl.html Here is a link i got for your of a 16 week old 3d/4d...I had one done at 24 weeks and I could see EVERYTHING and every little detail,nose,mouth,fingers,toes..i could even see him opening his mouth and sucking on his little toes...keep in mind though at 16 weeks u will def see your baby but it wont be in too much detail because baby has not gotten his/her fat yet...most ultrasound techs would like u to wait until after 24 weeks so u can have a much better picture of your baby..it will be tonnns of fun and it will be sooo nice to see but if u can wait i would say wait until your are past 22 weeks or so,if not then have lots of fun and good luck!!! =)
  4. 16 weeks is still too early to get a really good pictures.. All they can really tell you is the gender then... I got some done at 26 weeks and they were great!!! here are a few.. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/MarineWifey19/BABY_55.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/MarineWifey19/BABY_36.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y42/MarineWifey19/BABY_123.jpg
  5. This site has 3D ultrasound images from all stages of pregnancy. Compare the differences between early 3D scans and those done later in the pregnancy. http://pregnancy.about.com/od/fetus/ig/3D-Ultrasound-Gallery/ http://pregnancy.about.com/cs/ultrasounds/l/bl3dusindex.htm http://pregnancy.about.com/od/pregnancyphotos/ig/Ultrasound-Photo-Gallery/ As an ultrasound technologist, I would wait a bit longer. A 16 week fetus (I know, I hate that word....sounds so cold) does not look much like a real person yet. We start out so alien like. I know that any chance to see your baby is an opportunity we will take, but if you are paying out of the pocket for this scan, you might want to let your little peanut grow some more. You might find it worth the wait! Best wishes.....
