What week is best to get 3D ultrasound? (non diagnostic)?

Yeah Im paying for a package to get dvd recording and some pics of bub. Its not diagnostic so yeah Im wanting to go next week (26 weeks) I was originally planning 28 weeks but 26 would be most convenient. Anyone have any imput or advice on when to go or experiences or suggestions or even pics to share with me :)

1. 30 weeks would be the earliest so it looks more like when hes born.....www.gehealthcare.com search for the obstetrics patient then click on ultrasound/obtimeline...great pics there KARIN you never had a 3d so why comment its the same baby their faces dont change you can also see hair in a good 3d on thing is that they are alittlemore wrinkley cuz they are in all the water karin go look at your 2d and keep quite....
2. With my last pregnancy I had a 3D ultrasound done at 29 weeks, it was absolutley amazing. I had one done again this pregnancy at 24 weeks and the 29 week one was definately better. At the 29 week one his face was just a lot more filled out where as at the 24 week one it was a lot more skeleton like. If I was to do it again in a future pregnancy I would definatley go around 28/29 weeks.
3. Third trimester is good... But I'm wondering why? With my three I wanted to see a heartbeat, and at the end, fingers and toes. Your baby won't look the way it's born, even in a 3D, so why bother? Sadly, depending on what the techs can catch the baby may look hungry or crying (they do that in utero). Do you really want to see that when there's nothing you can do about it? Finally...it's grossly expensive!
4. I'll be getting one this weekend. I'll be 31w2d so I'm sure it will pretty much be life like. My hospital is doing them for free, so you can imagine my joy, cause those things are expensive. The best weeks are from 29-35 weeks I think, cause baby looks life like but not too squashed for you not to get great pics.
