Where can i go to learn 3D studio Max?

I am a n architectural student and want to learn 3d studio max. However the prices people are charging are way above my budget. Does anybody know any cheap places to learn? does anybody know of any companies in India? etc

1. Its easy to learn how to use 3D studio max, there is abselutly no need to take didicated courses. You would just follow tutorials online, and read the ducumention which came with 3d studio max. If you are an architectural student however, you may want to learn AutoCad Architectural Desktop. At such, you may want to visit the following links. You should first and formost learn how to search on the internet, without knowing how to search, you will drastically slow down the learning process. Its a mistake to think that its required to take expensive courses in everything, or go trough years of education. All the information you need, is available right in front of you, its just a matter of understanding it, and sometimes (using the reference). I asume that architectural students will be learning about AutoCad and 3dstudio at some point anyway. In any case, its allways better to follow free online tutorials, then it is to pay for those expensive courses/classes.
