Looking for sites to help with character design in 3d Max Studio 8?

I'm looking for specific sites to help with the creation of game characters in 3d Max Studio 8. I want a site that with help with the creation first, then later I can use for motion, then implementing into scenes, etc.

1. have you ever tried renderosity.com? its an online community for 3d modelers/texture artists of all degrees amateur to professional there are plenty of free models you can download on the site(to learn whats the right way to build models with) as well as forums that you can ask questions on just about every problem you ever come across. this site is for all 3d software applications out on the market but the site can be filtered to specific softwares so it wouldnt be hard to find 3d studio max things since its such a well known software.
