This game is an old computer game, 1 to 5 people can play at a time, no 3d graphics or anything. we don't know the name of the game and we've been trying to find it. it's little tanks on a hill and the object of the game is to shoot the other people. The game came out in the late 80s or early 90s. I think it may be called tank wars or something possibly similar to that.

I'm pretty sure it's called Tank Wars. There are alot of remakes of it, specially Worms.
Yeah, it is called Tank Wars. You could buy different weapons and had to know a little geometry. You can download a DOS version online.

While 'Tank Wars' is the current incarnation of the game, the game released those many years ago was called "Scorched Earth".
