i was installing a back up camera into my indash dvd, when wiring it to the battery, stereo lost power?

I have a 2004 ford f150. I think something went wrong with the battery cable. my cig lighter works fine, along with all my lights and such. any thoughts? I checked all other wires, and all other wires are connected.

1. Yes, while digging around in the wires you unhooked something. Get back under there and reconnect it. Also, you can have a screen where it can be seen by the driver if it is a dedicated back up camera. But if it also plays DVD movies, it can't be where the driver can see it. I think that's true for all states, but I would not swear to it. So you may get a fix it ticket if it's in the dash.
