Subwoofers connected to surround sound Stereo Receiver?

ok, so heres the thing, we have this reciever thing that has speakers connected throughout the house, and you select which speakers you want played, for example, i just hit like speakers 3 and 5 and the left and right speakers in the living room will turn on. i have two 12 in Diamond Subs with i think a 400watt rockford fosgate amp. i wanna know how i would hook up the subs for the bass, i want to put them behind the couch, and i have the wires needed to hook them up to a car if it helps. well i'll take some pics if it helps out(they're gonna be blurry, i couldn't find the good camera) The little stereo receiver box thing, where the speaker wires run through the house hook up: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=9fmy5z&s=3 The Amp: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=biqaky&s=3 One of the subs: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=o0eh5&s=3 i really dont wanna spend extra money on this either oh, and i want to know how to hook this all up to an HDTV if you could tell me easy thanks

1. Short answer without spending money? You can't. The car amp is made for 12 volts, your house is wired for 120 volts.
2. Yes there is no way for a car amp to be hooked up to a home receiver, sorry u need to purchase a powered home sub!
