What country/s has the cheapest but good quality consumer electronics?

I'm from SE asia and am going on a shopping/vacation trip overseas for portable stereos, LCD projectors, digital cameras, and digital camcorders. I'd like some input on what country would be a good destination for the above items. They need not be name-brand but should be of good build and quality. Ideally, a good vacation potential, too! (or is that asking too much?)

4. Shenzen,China and Hong Kong. Good quality chinese brands for a fraction of the cost of the Big Japanese counterparts. No Sales tax in Hong Kong as well.
5. The Philippines, where most yuppies changed their cellphone everytime there is a new one introduced in the market. Go to Greenhills Shopping Mall it's a very huge mall that specialized in electronics items. You can find there not only brand new but in excellent condition used items. If shopping is what you want Philippines is the best choice. They have a lot of huge mall. KLCC in KL is nothing compared to the malls in the Philippines. They just opened the Mall of Asia the third biggest mall in the World.

7. SIngapore, Taiwan, and China lat time I checked. but I could be wrong
8. If you want cheap electronic goods, go to Hong Kong. Better, go to China where they make tons of them everyday. Really cheap ones, but of doubtful quality.
