1. Most free games are in Flash (and therefore not 3d) because Flash doesn't cost quite so much money to buy, so the games aren't as expensive to make and people can afford to give them away. Most good 3d games take an awful lot of money to make, so if people don't sell them, they'd go bankrupt and never be able to make any more games. You can still find a few free ones, of course. There are a handful of 3d MMORPGs that are free to play. There are a few 3d games on http://www.yoyogames.com/ but most of them are 2d. And http://www.instantaction.com/ is for playing 3d games but I'm not sure if they're free... they might just be cheap. Support game makers so that they can make more games!

You can try limewire.com or bearshare.com, but according to lot of feeback that these sites are contains virus and spyware which will crash you system if you don't have a good Virus Scanning software, also take note that those sites are sharing files illegal and facing court case now.
