1. go with emulators and roms, search around, thats the only "free" way, but it is illegal, but no one hardly ever gets caught
2. America's Army is a full version game that you can download for free and play online. No trial ware/sharware ... its totally free and its a complete game where you can play against others online. The supplied link also includes patches and updates. Be warned.... its monitored by punkbuster and if your caught cheating with any type of cheat or hack its game over for you. They will ban your PCID and not just your ip or player name. They go much deeper into your system to make sure you can never play again on that pc you used to cheat or do whatever with. (unless you get another one)

I have a few... www.gunzonline.com is a full 3rd Person Shooter for free that you play online... www.mapleglobal.com is a 2D anime styled free MMORPG that has millions of players you can meet... www.softnyx.net has 2 games there is a 3rd Person Medieval based deathmatch game you play online and the other game is like Worms which is a sidescrolling game where you use guns to defeat people... www.silkroadonline.net is a 3D MMORPG with a ton of cool features...well thats all I can think of at the moment so I hope you enjoy all of those games!
