Is it gay to play an online game or 3d chat as an avatar of opposite gender?

And I don't mean like tricking someone into thinking your another gender I mean like if you decide to change the the opposite gender for a day or something just for the heck of it. I have had people try to trick me into thinking that they are another gender before and it is annoying.. lol
