  1. Do you have any marsh mellows and toothpicks?
  2. How long have you known about this assignment? This will be a good learning experience for you.. next time you won't wait so long. Remember - lack of planning your part does not constitute and emergency on anyone else's part. Maybe you can walk to the store and buy some marshmallows?
  3. Why'd you wait so long? Especially since you just clearly said you have nothing around the house. Good luck.
  4. try a double helix, by twisting it around.... when on 1 side there is a letter either a t g or c the other one has to be t a c or g respectively good luck
  5. take a pencil and some toothpicks and tape them to the pencil all the way down but at different angles so you can make the spiral then thus take a sheet of paper and cut 2 strips and attatch them to teach end of the spiral you made. THen tak for colors like red yellow blue green and use them to represent t g a and c
  6. liquorice strands get 3 twist each one individually place them together twist the 3 together secure each end you may need some help with this part. BETTER THAN NOTHING MAYBE?
  7. Make some clay and build a double helix. you can make homemade clay by: Materials Needed: 2 Cups Flour 1 Cup Salt 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil 3/4 - 1 Cup Water Instructions: Mix together flour and salt. Add the oil and then slowly add the water and stir until you get a nice clay consistency. Once completely mixed, make into the desired shapes. Bake in a 250 degree oven for approximately 1 hour. This will vary depending on how thick you creations are. One hint, do not make shapes too thick or they will crack with baking. You can even add some food coloring. Then all you really have to do is make a ladder and twist it. pretty simple. Good Luck. P.S. Who really cares how long you waited to do this, the only thing that matters is you do it and turn it in on time. I am in graduate school working on my MBA and I always wait for the last minute, while it would be better to do it over time, I work best under pressure. I have procrastinated my whole life, but then again I have always been an honor student so who cares when you do it as long as it is done.
