help! i need to make a small model of a home or a floor plan for a home?!?

for spanish i have to make a small house or a floor plan of a house. i want to make mine nice and 3d. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas? please help! i need something smaller and cheap. i wanted to buy small furniture buut cant find any for cheap. and i thought about stickers but i couldnt find any. please help.

1. take a box that you can divide into rooms..like livign room .. bedroom kitchen and bathroom get those carpet samples and carpet each room go to dollar stores and buy furniture,. what you cannot buy you can make out of carboard make windows and hang curtains in it too..
2. Architects commonly use foam board to model buildings. It can be easily cut using straight edge and an X-acto knife. To create markings on the outside (or inside if you make the roof removeable), you can use a drawing program or even ASCII-art using text characters. Then print it out, cut and apply with double-sided tape or other adhesive. Or, if you're really industrious, you could make windows even more realistic by cutting openings in the foam board and installing clear plastic sheet to simulate the panes.
