How can I become a 3D Animator?

Does anyone know how I can become a 3D Animator like create 3D Models and turn them into 3D Animation. I know its hard work in all but I need to know where beginners should start out. I am apparently using Blender 3D right now because its free and I would like to know if anyone know some other programs for 3D Modeling and Tutorials on how to start creating 3D Models and start making 3D Animation the reason I wanted to do this is because I think its really fun and I would like to get a job at Pixar Animation Studios or Dreamworks when I get older. Please don't leave comments like, You can't, No, or its impossible. Sorry if I have this in the wrong area because Yahoo Answers brought me here >_> And I am also into 2D Animation as well. :)
