Whats the best 3D Modelling Software?

SO, I got this 3ds Max software but cant master it yet..... Is there any better software than 3ds Max?? What about Blender 3D, Autedesk Maya, or Cinema 4D??

1. I like Lightwave but I hear most folks raving about 3ds or Maya. If you can afford a program like 3DS Max, you might want to look around for users groups for each and ask someone familiar with each to let you watch over their shoulder for a day. They may want to charge you a fee but it might be worth it to you to actually see the workflow of each program before you settle. Its really not about which program is best. Its about which program fits your creative style the best.
