Texturing problems with Blender?

So I was following this tutorial found here: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro/Landscape_Modeling_I:_Basic_Terrain But I cant seem to get my grass terrain to show up. I've done everything it has said and redone it sevral times but the texture just wont appear! Anyone know what to do? I can see the texture through the render preview screen but thats it.

1. The texture shows-up in the Render, but its not showing-up in the 3D screen? Hmm... try this: in "Object Mode" with your mesh selected, hit Alt Z
